Edits are where the money goes
The build price gets your attention, but the edits decide what a site costs you over the years you have it. Meath Web Design includes an hour of changes a month on its €139 plan and none on the cheaper two. DesignBurst includes none and charges €25 a page.
A tradesman's site needs changing all the time. A new price, a new town you cover, photos of last week's job, a review you want up. If every one of those costs money or a phone call, you stop doing them, and a site that hasn't changed since the day it went live is exactly the kind Google and ChatGPT pass over. That's why ours is €100 a month with every change included, rather than a build fee and an hourly rate.
Three don't publish prices
Mutually, Paragon and webmakers quote each job. Mutually and webmakers do bigger builds and online shops, where that makes sense. For a straightforward trade site, expect to ring around.
Who owns the site
Ask this before you sign with anyone. DesignBurst says you own it in full, and so do we: your domain, your website and everything on it are yours. The other Meath firms don't say. Get it in writing.
